Faster information speed for faster decision making and optimization of operating costs. This is what provides, in practice, the integration of the B1Agribusiness SAP platform made available by Mato Grosso, Liberali and the agricultural equipment of the state of Rio Grande do Sul Stara. Such payment will be presented during Agrishow 2019 – 26th International Agricultural Technology Fair in Action, which takes place from April 29 to May 3 in Ribeirão Preto (SP).
With the integration of the SAP platform with Stara’s equipment, producers will have information on agricultural operations, such as the input applied and the quantity, area worked, time of operation, application map, the equipment operator, among others, that is, all the information about the work will be included in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning or Integrated Business Management System), software that improves the management of companies, automating the processes and integrating the activities of the same.
“There are routines of the property that are worked on this information. In the maintenance plan of the machines, for example, information from the hour meter is needed to know if it has already reached a level of hours when maintenance is scheduled. All this information that is on the equipment is now necessary within SAP, because you have an integration between things ”, explains Toni Edgar da Silva, Liberali’s Innovation Director.
The payment also helps to improve the information process for the agricultural operation that takes place in the field, which optimizes the control of production costs.
According to Liberali’s Innovation Director, Toni Edgar da Silva, the field tests were carried out with a common client of Stara and Liberali, in this 2018/2019 harvest. The tests involved field visits, adjustments to the equipment, among others, generating information with great speed for the company’s management areas, as they come directly from the machines and with it more assertive decision making to know if those operations are going down the amount of inputs, if the equipment is being used correctly, among others.
“It is a real use for the Internet of Things (IoT). This is what this union of Liberali and Stara wants to provide to rural producers ”, points out Toni Edgar.
